Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
(Allentown, Pa.) - Saturday's 6:35 p.m. game between the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and the Louisville Bats at Coca-Cola Park has been postponed due to heavy rain forecasted for this evening. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, June 28, beginning at 1:05 p.m. Each of the doubleheader games are scheduled for seven innings and only one ticket is needed to attend both games. All gates will open at 12 p.m. on Sunday, June 28.
Due to the postponement, fans holding tickets to Saturday's game can exchange each ticket for a Field Level ticket of equal or lesser value to any 2015 home game at Coca-Cola Park. All ticket exchanges must be made in-person at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office (no phone or internet exchanges). Ticket exchanges are subject to availability. Fans with additional questions are asked to call (610) 841-PIGS (7447). Group leaders holding tickets for Saturday's game will be contacted shortly by their ticket representative to discuss their alternatives due to today's postponement.
The first 2,000 youngsters 17 and under attending Sunday's 1:05 p.m. doubleheader will receive a complimentary Popcorn Bowl giveaway presented by NAMI-Lehigh Valley, Digital Oasis and InsuranceHouseCall.com. Immediately following Sunday's twin bill, children 12 and under can "Run The Bases" courtesy of Lehigh Valley Health Network. Tootsie the Clown will also be on hand on Sunday to provide complimentary face painting and balloon art for children.
Great seats are still available for Sunday's doubleheader and all upcoming home games and can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park (Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), by calling (610) 841-PIGS (7447) or online at ironpigsbaseball.com/tickets. Make sure to inquire about our brand-new seating area, "The Pig Pen", a revolutionary new seating area that puts fans directly in front of the players in the left field bullpens and just inches away from the on-field action.
Tickets are also on sale now for the 2nd annual "Fourth on the Field" at Coca-Cola Park, an Independence Day carnival-style event featuring the biggest fireworks show in ballpark history presented by TD Bank, mouth-watering food options from the local food truck community, live patriotic music and family-friendly entertainment such as pony rides and inflatable games.
