Jacksonville Sharks News Release
JACKSONVILLE - The 2012 South Division Champion Jacksonville Sharks return to their home turf on Saturday, June 1, hosting the Pittsburgh Power on Sea Best Field at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. This week's game is presented by our partners at The Blood Alliance, and kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
Fresh off a 44-41 victory over the Orlando Predators, the Sharks take the best record in the American Conference into tonight's matchup. These two teams met up in Pittsburgh in Week 2, as the Shark defense racked up a franchise-record seven sacks en route to a 61-35 win. In fact, the Sharks have won all three previous meetings against Pittsburgh by at least 20 points. Tonight, however, the Sharks will get their first look at Power quarterback Steven Sheffield, who has led Pittsburgh to two wins in their last three games.
Whether you are a longtime Season Ticket Holder or are about to head to your first Sharks game, please see below for a rundown of what to expect at the Shark Tank tonight!
