North Carolina FC News Release
CARY, N.C. - Due to inclement weather in the forecast, changes have been made surrounding North Carolina FC's home match this Saturday, April 8, against the Charlotte Independence. Fan Fest and all pregame activities are canceled while the celebration and showcase of our Community Heroes has been rescheduled to July 15.
Saturday's Dogwood Derby is still on as scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. ET kickoff at WakeMed Soccer Park. The forecast is not expected to hinder the game; however, the elements surrounding the match have been proactively rescheduled to ensure the safety of all fans and NCFC employees.
Select players will be signing autographs on the concourse near the main entrance before the match. As originally scheduled, USO children will accompany players during the team walkout and the national anthem will be sung by a member of the NC State ROTC.
