The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club announced today that they have re-signed non-import safety Darnell Edwards. Details of the contract were not released.
Edwards emerged into the starting safety role last season finishing the year with 22 defensive tackles, two special teams tackles, two quarterback sacks, and one interception while playing in 11 regular season games.
Edwards was originally drafted by the Green and White in the 4th round (29th overall) in the 2002 CFL College Draft.
