Saskatchewan Rush News Release
SASKATOON, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush have sent another veteran forward east.
On Wednesday, GM Derek Keenan made a trade to send Dan Lintner and a 2024 5th Round Pick to Toronto for a 2024 2nd Round Pick and defender Jamieson Dilks.
"We appreciate what Dan brought to the Rush in his two seasons and wish him all the best in Toronto. This is simply a continuation of us taking the team in a different direction with a younger core group. If you look at what we did with 2nd round picks in 2023, I think it's easy to see the value," - Keenan
Dilks, a 25-year-old defender from Hamilton, has played 28 games in the National Lacrosse League. As a member of the Rock, he has two goals, 17 caused turnovers and 49 loose balls.
"In Dilks, we get a young, athletic D-Guy who will be given a good shot at cracking our line-up." - Keenan
The Rush will open up training camp on November 3rd, with the first preseason game being on November 25th against the Calgary Roughnecks in Moose Jaw.
