San Rafael Pacifics Announce Championship Week

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - The final week of the 2013 San Rafael Pacifics is set for August 20-25 at Albert Park. Championship Week is filled with all sorts of great events and you'll want to grab your tickets fast, as these events are expected to sell out. Tickets are not yet available to the general public. The only way to ensure yourself tickets to Championship Week is to buy tickets to this week's homestand through August 8. Fans who purchase tickets for this week's games will receive a special code allowing them to purchase tickets to Championship Week. Tickets are available at www.pacificsbaseball.com.

The Return of the "Spaceman" Bill Lee

Last season, former major leaguer Bill "Spaceman" Lee made history on a magical August night when he broke his own record for the oldest person to win a professional baseball game by tossing a complete game for the Pacifics. Lee returns to Albert Park for two on Tuesday, August 20 and Wednesday, August 21 and will be available for photographs and autographs. The first 500 fans at the Thursday, August 22 game will receive a commemorative Lee bobblehead courtesy of Bradley Real Estate (pictured).

Funeral Night

In the words of the immortal Yogi Berra, "it ain't over 'til it's over." On, Friday, August 23 the Pacifics will host Funeral Night presented by Mt. Tam Mortuary. Fans will be able to submit a 200-word obituary of themselves and the winning obituary will win their very own funeral. Submit your obituary to tristan@pacificsbaseball.com by August 18.

Soup Nazi

Seinfeld fans surely remember the Soup Nazi's "No soup for you!" catchphrase from the TV show. On Saturday, August 24 the Soup Nazi will be available to take photos and to sign autographs, courtesy of Miller's East Coast Deli.

2013 Pacific Association Championship

The San Rafael Pacifics will compete for the 2013 Pacific Association Championship on Sunday, August 25. The first 500 fans will receive a grab bag item on their way into the game.
