
San Diego Wave FC and FOX 5 Announce New English-Language TV Broadcast Partnership

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - San Diego Wave FC announced today that FOX 5 San Diego will be the club's first English-language broadcast TV partner for the 2023 season beginning with the first broadcast on Saturday April 1 vs. North Carolina Courage.
"This is a significant and exciting step forward for our club," said San Diego Wave FC President Jill Ellis. "In our second year as a club, we want to be more accessible than ever before to San Diego, while providing our fans with as many ways as possible to experience Wave FC, both live at Snapdragon Stadium and on the broadcast. We're excited that the viewership will continue to build the Wave brand and showcase the talent of this team and league."
In addition to this Saturday's match, the Wave's away match against Angel City FC on April 23 will also be televised locally at 5:00 p.m. PT. The remaining televised games on FOX 5 will include the Portland Thorns on May 26, Racing Louisville on June 9, Washington Spirit on July 8 and Orlando City on Aug. 25.
All six matches will also air on Paramount+.
