Quotes:

Head Coach Alen Marcina

(On the draw...)

"We dominated, from start to finish. Outshot them 19-3, that's clear domination. They had no solutions for our press. We're not a team that cares for possession, and we out-possessed them. It's a meaningless stat to us, but even that - dominated in ever facet. But you've got to score goals. And we fell short in scoring goals. We had more than enough [chances] to take care of them early on in the game, but you know, we have to keep our resilience and keep doing the right things because we did a lot of good things. And the ball eventually will fall for us."

(On only scoring one goal...)

"19-3. Dominated. Dominant, dominant. But we want three points. And we've got to be more clinical, we understand that. But the only thing we can do is continue to focus on what we can control. We put ourselves in great positions, and we believe in all of our attackers. It's just a matter of time that we start putting those away, and when we do we're going to be extremely dangerous."

(On the defense...)

"Every game, every game we've been - well again, even against Louisville [City]. Yes we lost, we understand that, but they had what two or three shots? If you're going every game and only conceding two, three shots there's a good chance you're going to be very successful. So we've just got to ... be more clinical on the attack. All our final balls, final actions, runs, very very good it's just that last action. And it'll come. We believe in our guys, it'll come."

Defender Shannon Gomez

(On the draw...)

"It's frustrating obviously, at home, you want to win these games. And, you know, home is a fortress ... the fans were amazing tonight and I felt like we deserved more from the game but obviously we didn't and it's something to reflect on, try to be better and score on more chances."

(On halftime adjustments made...)

"Soccer's a complex thing, and sometimes you get half chances. You've got to take and make the best of them. Obviously I think our strikers are trying to make the best of the opportunities that they had, and they're not falling right now but I know that giving them confidence and always being behind them, and keeping them upbeat, I think those chances will fall in games and we'll be able to take full control of the game. And when those chances start going down ... it could've been a whole different game had we scored those chances but we take it with a grain of salt and we keep giving them confidence to score goals."

Forward Niko Hansen

(On the draw...)

"Disappointing, I think we dominated. We had a lot of chances, we got in front of goal we had bounces in the box, multiple times, I think it's disappointing to get away with [only] a PK there, and for them to get that goal. But it's part of the game. It's soccer, sometimes it doesn't really go your way, and other games you put away four, five, so I think that's the disappointment."

(On whether it feels like San Antonio is underachieving...)

"Yes and no I mean we are better, than this. If you look at last season, I think they had five draws five losses so right on par with that. ... Of course it doesn't feel as good, a loss and a draw, draw before that as well. But, wins are coming. Those are good teams. I think we would like to win against those good teams for sure because then ... we get more points, but it is what it is with that. That's ... the schedule, and we have to move forward."

(On the mood in the locker room...)

"Disappointment ... frustration, and I think it's just that we deserved more. We deserved more. So I think that's where it kind of comes, guys are just frustrated with the fact that two, three goals don't go in today. Because they could've, easily."
