Sam Gagner Recalled by Flyers

Lehigh Valley, PA - The Philadelphia Flyers, parent club of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, have recalled from loan forward Sam Gagner.

A 26-year-old center from London, Ontario, Gagner registered one goal, five assists and six points in nine games with the Phantoms. Before coming to Lehigh Valley, he compiled two goals, three assists and five points in 18 games with the Flyers.

A first-round selection (6th overall) by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Gagner has amassed 118 goals, 223 points and 341 total points across 580 career NHL games.

The Phantoms return to action this Saturday, January 23 when they invade Giant Center in Hershey for a rivalry showdown with the Bears.
