This Weekend at the Pullar Stadium, Our Soo Eagles played host to "Salute Our Local Heros". Showing up to help us enjoy the evening with a vehicle was Sault Ste. Marie fire, Pickford Fire & EMS, Sugar Island Fire, US Customs, US Boarder Patrol, Sault Ste. Marie City Police, and Michigan State Police arriving in there 1975 patrol car.
To drop the ceremonial puck we invited Chippewa County 911 director Tim McKee and Michigan State Police Officer Daniel Bergsma. On hand to help keep the kids having fun was Sparky the fire dog and EDDY the eagle, working as a team to make the evening fun.
