
Salmon Kings settle trade with Augusta

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced today the completion of a "future considerations" trade with the Augusta Lynx during the 2006-07 season. The Salmon Kings traded the rights to 24-year-old Forward Warren McCutcheon.
McCutcheon completes the trade that brought Defenseman Phil Cole to Victoria from the Augusta Lynx in October 2006.
McCutcheon, a native of Carman, Manitoba, played 27 games with the Salmon Kings and posted eight points and 40 penalty minutes. Cole, 24, played 51 games with the Salmon Kings in 2006-07, notching 15 points and leading the team in plus/minus (+10).
