St. Paul Saints News Release
ST. PAUL, MN - Going to a St. Paul Saints game at CHS Field is about more than just baseball, it's about the entire experience. From the promotions, to the unique characters interacting with the fans, to the unique areas like the craft beer corner around the ballpark, Saints games are like no other. The Saints, along with Bleachr, have created a unique in ballpark app that brings the action to them including never having to wait in line at the concession stands again.
The St. Paul Saints app, available on both iOS and Android in the App Store, and the Google Play Store, brings the Saints to your fingertips whether you're at CHS Field or following the team from a remote desert island. While at the ballpark fans can order select food and beverage items directly from their seat and have it delivered by one of the Saints friendly food and beverage staff. On the menu is a large variety of beers, hard alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages (soda, water, Gatorade and lemonade), and various snacks like kettle corn, peanuts, and sunflower seeds. Just decide what you're in the mood for and in just minutes you'll be enjoying your favorite food and drink item without having missed a moment of the action (function only available at CHS Field and will not work when you are on the deserted island).
The St. Paul Saints app will also allow fans to interact with other fans around the ballpark. Go head-to-head in trivia contests, unique fan challenges and earn points by participating each game as you make your way up the leaderboard and become the ultimate Saints fan. Also, take those Facebook "friends" and make them your real life friends. The Saints app will inform you when all those people you've been friends with on Facebook since 2004, but haven't seen since you were in high school in 1994, are at the game.
"We are thrilled to be working with Bleachr to make this groundbreaking technology available to our fans," said Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Derek Sharrer. "This app provides our guests with an amazing opportunity to interact with the team and have access to exclusive services, while also creating a platform for them to interact with each other."
If you want to find out how the 2016 Saints compare to last season's historical 74-26 juggernaut it's just one click away. All the information is on the app with updated news, featured articles, standings, rosters, stats and so much more. Want to know how the team is doing on their upcoming 14 game roadtrip? You can follow each game live, in real time, with the Gamecast portion of the app.
What about attending a Saints game? The Saints app gives fans the ability to purchase tickets to any game, including the 2016 American Association All-Star Game on August 2 at CHS Field. Just choose the game, find the seats you want, head out to the game and show your phone with the bar code at the front gate.
The app is compatible with smart phones and tablets. Fans should check back for updates for additional new functions and features that will be added to the Saints app throughout the season.
