
Saginaw Spirit Announce Details for 2018 Prospect Camp

Saginaw, Michigan - The Saginaw Spirit, celebrating 17 seasons of hockey in the Great Lakes Bay Region, are proud to welcome their draft picks from the 2018 OHL Priority Selection class, free agents, and select members of the 2017-18 roster to the Saginaw Bay Ice Arena May 12-13 for the 2018 Saginaw Spirit Prospect Camp.
The weekend begins Friday night, where all 32 players and their families are invited to a lavish dinner inside the Red Room at The Dow Event Center. This is where most of the prospects will get their first look at the over 1 million dollar investment inside the newly renovated Dow Event Center.
After dinner, players will turn their focus onto the on-ice activities that begin Saturday, May 12th at Saginaw Bay Ice Arena located at 6129 Bay Road in Saginaw. The first on-ice scrimmage begins at 10:00 a.m. Players will then break and joins their families on a bus tour/information session, where camp participants will see all that the city of Saginaw has to offer.
Players and families will return to Saginaw Bay Ice Arena for the second on-ice session of the day that beings at 6:00 p.m.
On Sunday, May 13, players and families arrive at Saginaw Bay Ice Arena for the final on-ice session that begins at 10:00 a.m.
All on-ice sessions are free and open to the public. Saginaw Bay Ice Arena will have their concession stand open for all three on-ice sessions.
Players and Staff will be available to the Media immediately following each on-ice session.
