Sacramento Republic FC Hosts Open Tryouts at Davis Legacy Field Jan. 27-28

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Republic FC will be hosting open tryouts this weekend for soccer players interested in playing for the USL club. Following the completion of all open tryouts, coaching staff will identify qualifying players that may advance to Republic FC training camp which kickoffs on Feb. 1.

Select players may also be identified for referral to various developmental clubs and leagues. Registration for this tryout is closed. These tryouts will serve as the last open tryouts before the start of the 2018 season.

Past Republic FC players that were identified or attended open tryouts include Emrah Klimenta, who is currently playing for MLS side LA Galaxy, and Max Alvarez.

What: Sacramento Republic FC Open Tryouts

When : Saturday, Jan. 27; 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and 12:30pm - 2:00 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 28; 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (primarily scrimmages to take place)

Where: Davis Legacy Fields, 26345 County Road 105, Davis CA 95618

Who: Approximately 130 soccer players trying out for Republic FC
