Sacramento Republic FC Announce 2017 USL Schedule

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Republic FC announced their 32-match 2017 USL schedule today. Republic FC's 2017 schedule will kick off on the road against Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Mar. 26.

Republic FC's 2017 USL home opener will be on Saturday, Apr. 1, against Orange County SC at 7:30 p.m. The match will be a rematch of last season's Western Conference Quarterfinal matchup on Oct. 5, 2016 where Orange County SC (then Orange County Blues FC) prevailed in penalties after a scoreless draw.

During the 2017 season, Republic FC will play every team in the USL Western Conference at least twice, once at home and once on the road. Republic FC will face Reno 1868 FC, Rio Grande Valley FC, Seattle Sounders FC 2 and Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 three times.

Republic FC's 2017 USL regular season will end on the road for the third consecutive season, with Republic FC visiting their newest rival, Reno 1868 FC on Oct. 14. The final home match for Republic FC will be against the newly re-branded Phoenix Rising FC on Sept. 30.

The 2017 USL regular season will see Republic FC play a season-long four-match home stretch from Sept. 16-30. Republic FC has perhaps their most difficult stretch Apr. 8 through May 13 that includes a single home match in between two groupings of three consecutive road matches.

A television and radio schedule for Republic FC will be announced at a later date.
