4-13-07: Acquired the Indiana Fever's 2008 third round draft pick in exchange for forward Jessica Dickson.
4-04-07: Selected forward Jessica Dickson (21st overall) in the 2007 WNBA Draft.
3-23-07: Acquired guard Chelsea Newton and the Chicago Sky's 2007 second round draft pick in exchange for Sacramento's 2007 first round draft pick.
Acquired guard/forward La'Tangela Atkinson from the Indiana Fever in exchange for the Monarchs 2008 second round draft pick.

Sunday, May 20, 2007, Monarchs at Minnesota Lynx at Target Center, 4:00 P.M. PDT.
Tuesday, May 22, 2007, Monarchs at Washington Mystics at Verizon Center, 4:30 P.M. PDT.

Preseason Recap
On May 11 the Monarchs fell to the Seattle Storm, 84-66. Yolanda Griffith led the Monarchs with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Storm guard Betty Lennox scored a game-high 26 points, connecting on 7-of-8 three-point field goals.
On May 13, the Monarchs topped the Phoenix Mercury, 77-75. Rebekkah Brunson led the Monarchs with 14 points on 6-of-9 field goals. She also tallied five rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot. Crystal Smith led Phoenix with a game-high 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field.
2007 Special Events at Monarchs Games
During the 2007 season, the Monarchs will be hosting special events during designated home games throughout the season. Designated games will have unique events for fans to participate in. The special events at Monarchs games are scheduled for:
