BUFFALO, N.Y. --- The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has released 17 players from its training camp roster.

**An updated training camp roster is included as an attachment**

12 players have been loaned to the Rochester Americans (AHL): Forwards Justin Bailey, William Carrier, Daniel Catenacci (pending waivers), Eric Cornel, Jean Dupuy, Vaclav Karabacek, Justin Kea, Evan Rodrigues and Cole Schneider (pending waivers); defensemen Brady Austin and Brycen Martin; goaltender Jason Kasdorf.

Five players have been released from their tryouts and will report to Rochester for training camp: Forwards Matthew Lane and Daniel Muzito-Bagenda; defenseman Mac Bennett and Paul Geiger; goaltender John Muse.

The Sabres now have 33 players (18 forwards, 12 defensemen and three goaltenders) on their training camp roster.
