
Sabres Recall Defenseman Brennan

BUFFALO, N.Y. --- Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that defenseman TJ Brennan has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
Brennan (6'1", 214 lbs., 4/3/89) joins the Sabres on his third career recall after brief stints with the team earlier this season. Brennan was last recalled on Nov. 21 and scored a goal in his NHL debut against Boston on Nov. 23. In three total games with the Sabres this season, Brennan has totaled one point (1+0) and two penalty minutes.
In his third professional season, Brennan has played 25 games with Rochester, compiling 15 points (6+9) and eight penalty minutes. In 2010-11, he ranked second among Portland Pirates (AHL) defensemen with 39 points (15+24) in 72 games.
Through 162 career AHL games, the Willingboro, N.J. native has totaled 77 points (27+50) and 121 penalty minutes. He was selected by the Sabres in the second round (31st overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
