
Rye Stops 46 for First Career Win as Petes End Knights' 14-Game Win Streak

(London, ON) - On Friday, January 26, the Peterborough Petes traveled to London for the first time since the 2023 OHL Championship Series for a battle with Michael Simpson and the London Knights. The Petes won the game in a shootout by a score of 3-2, ending their losing streak and ending London's 14-game win streak.
It was a game of milestones as Peterborough native Easton Rye picked up his first OHL win in his third career start. Petes Head Coach Rob Wilson also hit a milestone on the night, getting his 150th OHL win.
Easton Rye led the way for the Petes in London, stopping 46/48 and all three shootout attempts for his first career win. Braydon McCallum scored and added the shootout winner, while Brody Partridge also had a goal. Quinn Binnie, Carson Cameron, Caden Taylor, and Chase Lefebvre all had an assist in the win.
