Ottawa, ON - Atlético Ottawa announced Winger Ryan Telfer has been recalled to the Trinidad and Tobago National Team for two CONCACAF FIFA 2022 World Cup Qualifying matches.

"I am excited to be back with the national team. I have had some success with them so far. I can't wait to get out and represent my country in some of the most important games I have ever been a part of," says Ryan Telfer, Atlético Ottawa, Winger.

Telfer was first called to the Trinidad and Tobago National Team in September of 2019 and has since made nine appearances. He has added a respectable four goals during that time - including one this past March in a 3-0 over Guyana.

"Ryan is a special player, and we are excited for him to have the opportunity to represent Trinidad and Tobago. Getting some real game time on an international stage is special for any player. We wish Ryan and the Trinidad and Tobago National Team all the best in their quest to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup," says Fernando Lopez, Atlético Ottawa, CEO.

Ryan Telfer and the Trinidad and Tobago Senior Team will play in two matches over this crucial FIFA World Cup Qualifying window.
