PORTLAND, ME -Maine Celtics guard Ryan Arcidiacono has earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the NBA, signing a 10-day contract with the New York Knicks.
Arcidiacono, an NBA veteran and Villanova product, has played in 6 games for Maine this season, averaging 12.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game. He has played in 207 NBA games over the past four seasons, all with the Chicago Bulls. For his NBA career, Arcidiacono has averaged 4.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.
Arcidiacono becomes the 20th player in franchise history to earn a GATORADE Call-Up, and the seventh in the past two-and-a-half weeks, joining Theo Pinson (DAL), Luke Kornet (CLE, MIL), Juwan Morgan (TOR), Chris Clemons (ATL), and Jaysean Paige (DET).
