Rapid City Rush News Release
(RAPID CITY, SD) - The Rapid City Rush are pleased to announce tomorrow night's "Team USA" Game Night, sponsored by Action Mechanical. In the spirit of the Winter Olympics, the game will honor Team USA Olympic hockey, as the Rush will wear specialty jerseys in their game against the Arizona Sundogs to be auctioned off following the game.
The specialty jerseys reflect those worn by the 1980 USA Men's Olympic Hockey Team, famous for their "Miracle on Ice" win over the Soviet Union, considered the biggest upset in sports history. The Rush will honor Special Olympics athletes as well during the game. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Rapid City Rush Foundation. Be sure to wear your red, white, and blue, and support your Rapid City Rush!
