
Rush Sign Defenseman Jordan Behler; Make Three IR Moves

(Rapid City, SD) - Today, the Rapid City Rush announced a number of roster moves in preparation for the Thanksgiving week games against the Evansville IceMen. Rookie defenseman Jordan Behler has been signed and will suit up for the Rush in tomorrow's contest against the IceMen. The Rush face the IceMen on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of this week. Tickets are still available for all three games.
The 25-year old Behler joins the Rush after beginning the season with the Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). In eleven games this year, the 6-foot, 205-pound defenseman notched two goals and eight assists. Last season, Behler racked up three goals and seventeen assists to go along with forty-one penalty minutes while in Fayetteville.
Prior to suiting up for the FireAntz, the Port Jefferson Station, New York native played two years of NCAA hockey at the University of Connecticut. In 60 games with the Huskies, Behler totaled nine points on one goal and eight assists.
The Rush made three other moves, sending rookie defenseman Wade Poplawski to the 14-day injured reserve and center Colin Circelli to the 10-day injured reserve. Rookie winger Anthony Perdicaro was also moved from the 10-day IR to the 30-day.
