Chicago Rush News Release

April 10, 2003 – The Chicago Rush has partnered with Easter Seals to help raise money for children and adults with disabilities and other special needs.

The Rush, through its relationship with Chicagoland businesses that support Easter Seals, is offering discounted tickets for its home game on Sunday, April 20, against the Dallas Desperados. Employees of those companies, and anyone else wishing to support Easter Seals, may purchase a $24 ticket to the game for $20 or a $16 ticket for just $12. After the game the Rush will donate 50 percent of all ticket revenue generated through this promotion back to Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago.

"It makes perfect sense to partner with Easter Seals for our game on Easter Sunday," said Rush senior vice president/general manager Mike Polisky. "Fans can enjoy a great Central Division battle between the Rush and Desperados and know that they are benefiting a great cause as well."

Fans or businesses wishing to support Easter Seals and take advantage of this special ticket offer should contact the Rush at (877) Rush-Tix (787-4849).

Businesses currently supporting the Rush-Easter Seals partnership include: NBC 5 Chicago, Century 21, the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police, First Home Mortgage, Edelman Public Relations, LaSalle Bank, AmeriSuites, Midwest Generation, IBEW Local 134 and Davis Harrison Dion.

This week the Chicago Rush (4-6) completes its three-game road trip when it travels to Denver to take on John Elway's Colorado Crush (1-9) Sunday, April 13, at 2 p.m. The game can be seen locally on NBC 5 and will include the exclusive network-television debut of the studio trailer for the much-anticipated feature film "The Matrix Reloaded." NBC will air the trailer in its entirety (2-1/2 minutes) during the second half of this Sunday's Rush game.

The Rush returns home to Allstate Arena Sunday, April 20, at 2 p.m. to host the Dallas Desperados. Fans wishing to purchase individual game tickets to any Rush regular season home game may order by calling Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212 or by visiting the Ticketmaster Web site at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets also may be purchased in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or the Allstate Arena box office.
