HEADING TOWARD 70 WINS: Chicago Rush head coach MIKE HOHENSEE is attempting to win his 70th career AFL contest this weekend. With a win, Hohensee would become the sixth member of the 70-win club. Last season, he recorded his 60th career victory with an overtime win over the Dallas Desperados on July 13.

RUSHING TO PAYDIRT: San Jose has scored at least one rushing touchdown in each of its 10 games this season and leads the League with 34 on the year. The SaberCats scored two times on the ground at Dallas last week and matched the League single-game record with six rushing touchdowns in a game this season -- twice. They are on pace to score 54 rush touchdowns which would shatter St. Louis' 1996 record (41) and make them League leaders for a fifth consecutive season.

HOT TICKET: Five of the six largest crowds to see the Avengers play have come within L.A.'s last 11 regular-season games, dating back to the end of the 2002 campaign. In consecutive games (Feb. 16, at Colorado and Feb. 23, at Chicago), the Avengers played before their two largest crowds ever. The Avengers are averaging 14,099 fans at home this season in four games at STAPLES Center and are close to selling out this weekend's game vs. Arizona (3 p.m. ET, NBC).

DYNAMITE DUO: Through 10 games this season, Grand Rapids' duo of TERRILL SHAW and STEVE SMITH have combined to catch an impressive 127 passes for 1,605 yards and 44 touchdowns. The speedy receivers could become the first Rampage duo to catch 100 passes apiece since the THOMAS BAILEY (133) and MICHAEL BAKER (102) did it during the 1999 season.
