Rush Partner with Potashcorp and Saskatoon Food Bank

Saskatoon, SK -Â The Saskatchewan Rush are very proud to announce their partnership with PotashCorp and the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre.
"PotashCorp is excited to partner with the Saskatchewan Rush and all of their terrific fans to support the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre," said Rhonda Speiss, PotashCorp's Manager of Community Investment. "Our company helps farmers grow the food that's needed to feed people all over the world, and we're proud to support our local food bank so it can provide healthy, nutritious food to people right here in Saskatoon."
The aim of this partnership is to help raise not only donations, but awareness in the local community and all of Saskatchewan.
"PotashCorp has deep roots in Saskatchewan and we make it a priority to invest in our communities here," Speiss said.
The team asks Rush Nation to bring a non perishable food item to drop in the Food Bank bins which will be placed along the concourse of SaskTel Centre. These initiatives hope to drive home the message of a healthy, food secure, and empowered community. Along with food bank donations, the Saskatchewan Rush will be selling water bottles for $10, with $5 from each bottle sold going to the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre.
