The Saskatchewan Rush are very excited to announce the unveiling of their new jersey for the upcoming 2016 National Lacrosse League season - one that pays tribute to the team's new home province.
Green is now predominantly featured on the Rush's 2016 jersey as well as the entire Rush merchandise line that is available at the new team office located inside Saskatoon's Scotia Centre (across from the Sasktel store).
"The Rush are proudly part of Saskatchewan and it was truly important to us to illustrate our sense of belonging to the Province by having the color green highlighted on our jerseys and all our apparel," said Rush Owner Bruce Urban.
"We want our jerseys to stand out just as we intend on having our team stand out throughout all of Saskatchewan.
"The Rush are the defending National Lacrosse League champions and it is our mission to keep the Champion's Cup and celebrate another championship in our new home with our new fans all while wearing Saskatchewan green."
The Rush recently opened their new headquarters in Scotia Centre to cement their fixture within Saskatoon's business community. The location features all of the new Rush apparel as well as the Rush team office where fans can get their tickets for the 2016 NLL season.
"It is vital to the success of the Saskatchewan Rush that we attract not only the support of sports fans but the business community as well," added Urban. "Together with everyone on board, the Rush are going to be a force in the NLL as well as the entire rich and historical sports landscape of Saskatchewan."
