Chicago Rush News Release
April 17, 2003 â The Chicago Rush announced today that it has extended the contracts of the team's three assistant coaches through the 2004 season.
Assistant head coach/defensive coordinator Walt Housman, wide receivers/defensive backs coach Stan Davis and director of player personnel/special teams/fullbacks/linebackers coach Dave Witthun will continue to work for Rush head coach Mike Hohensee through the 2004 season.
"I think we have the best staff in Arena Football," says Hohensee. "They all come to work every day with the idea of being the best. They have earned a lot of respect from both our players and the entire organization."
Housman and Davis are each in their third seasons with Chicago, having joined Hohensee prior to Chicago's inaugural season. Witthun is in his second year with the club.
"The coaching staff continues to do a superb job preparing the team each week," said Mike Polisky, Rush senior vice president/general manager. "We are excited to know they all will be back with us next season."
