Chicago Rush News Release

The Chicago Rush announced today that it has hired former ESPN Radio 1000 general manager Bob Snyder to consult and assist the Rush with revenue-generating media and marketing strategies for the upcoming season.

"Bob brings a wealth of marketing knowledge and a different perspective of sports properties to the table," said Rush senior vice president/general manager Mike Polisky. "We are looking forward to his input as we continue to grow the Rush brand in Chicago."

Snyder, who recently started Beason Broadcast Partners, Ltd., has been involved in sports and sports media for two decades, serving as a radio station general manager for nine years in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Miami, and as the owner of the East Coast Hockey League's Miami Matadors. Most recently he spent four years (2000-2004) as the general manager for Chicago's ESPN Radio 1000.

"For nearly 20 years, the sport of Arena Football has provided its corporate sponsors with terrific value," said Snyder. "The Rush, specifically, has afforded Chicago business a very attractive return on investment, and it will be a privilege to help the Rush explore new areas of growth for both the organization and its marketing partners."

Snyder has managed or represented media relationships with the Washington Redskins, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls, as well as worked with the University of Maryland and University of Virginia men's basketball programs and the University of Notre Dame football program.

Snyder previously has consulted for the Team Sports Radio Network, PaxNet's Pro Sports Division, Fanball.com and the One-On-One Sports Radio Network (now Sporting News Radio).

The Rush kicks off its fifth anniversary season in January with the 2005 home opener set for noon on Sunday, February 6, against Jon Bon Jovi's Philadelphia Soul. Rush season tickets, beginning at just $64, currently are on sale. To reserve your tickets, or for more information about 2005 Rush season tickets, fans can call the Rush at (877) Rush-Tix (787-4849) or visit the team's Web site, www.chicagorush.com.
