Victoria, BC- Victoria Royals' netminder Coleman Vollrath stopped all 34 shots in a 1-0 win over the Prince Albert Raiders on Tuesday night at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

The Royals and Raiders were deadlocked until Tyler Soy broke the tie four minutes into the third period. Vollrath recorded his second shutout of the season and third of his Western Hockey League (WHL) career.

Raiders' netminder Rylan Parenteau stopped 24 of 25 shots.

Victoria was 0/60.0% on the powerplay, while Prince Albert went 0/40.0%.

The Royals take on the Vancouver Giants in a home-and-home series starting Friday, December 12th for their fourth annual Teddy Bear Toss Night and Saturday, December 13th at the Pacific Coliseum. All teddy bears collected on Friday will be distributed to local charities.
