Royals Expand and Reorganize Front Office
June 3, 2016 - ECHL (ECHL)
Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced an expansion and reorganization of the team's front office staff in preparation for the sixteenth season of professional hockey in Reading, Pennsylvania. The new structure for the team's sales and marketing operations, which will focus on creating and maintaining a premier level of entertainment experience for all patrons of Royals' hockey, includes the addition of four new sales representatives and two staff members focused solely on customer service.
This season, the sales and marketing team will be led by David Garson, who as Director of Sales and Marketing will oversee a staff of eleven. The new sales and marketing group is in the process of launching a long-term plan to energize Royals' hockey in the Greater Reading Region beginning with increased personal attention for season ticket holders and long-term fans. The expanded staff will also enable outreach to an entirely new generation of patrons-from traditional hockey fans in the area to the perhaps not so traditional group just looking for a fun night out.
One of the key efforts for generating new participation with the team will focus upon group outings designed as a no-hassle night of entertainment from purchasing a block of best-available tickets to offering a wide-variety of options for parking, catered food and drink, and the use of expanded party areas in Santander Arena. The effort to develop this new participation will be generated by the team's four new Client Development Executives: Kaitlyn Black, Joe Bowman, Chris Hazel and Zach Robinson. Similarly, for the theme nights in this season's promotional calendar, the Royals have added a pair of Theme Night Specialists, Dylan Ward and Ali Templin, who will actively seek to match up special interest groups with the game-night theme appropriate for that group.
It is important to note that Royals' season ticket holders will still experience the personal, hands-on attention of their individual ticket representative, who will always be available to address questions and concerns. In this regard, Dakota Procyk will continue to head up the ticket sales department with assistance from Ticket Account Executive Jake Friedman. However, every patron of the Royals-sixteen year season ticket holders, brand new first-timers and everyone in between-will have immediate and direct access to the team's new Customer Service Managers, Stephanie Peterson and Kendra Wert, each of whom will be reaching out to introduce themselves to the team's fans in the immediate future.
The Royals' marketing effort will continue the recent energetic push in community relations and activities, as well as social media interaction, under the guidance of Alexy Posner, who is expected to serve once again this year as the in-arena Game Night Host. As the team heads toward Season Sixteen fans can also expect an entirely new line of merchandise items-including brand new home and away jerseys-from the team's long-time merchandise 'magician' Gregg Lewis.
Fans interested in these developments with the Royals are encouraged to reach out and greet the new-and perhaps not so new-members of the team's front office. The phone number and email address of each member of the sales and marketing group is set out below.
