
Royals David Marshall and Sean Wiles to Play for Flyers in Pre-Season Prospects Game

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, today announced that two players under ECHL contract with Reading, David Marshall and Sean Wiles, will play for the Flyers in a pre-season prospects game against the New Jersey Devils to be held this afternoon in Newark, New Jersey. Both Marshall and Wiles, along with Royals' forward Domenic Monardo and defenseman Mike Marcou have been invited to participate in the pre-season training camp with the Flyers' AHL affiliate (Lehigh Valley Phantoms) starting later this week. Please note that today's game in Newark is closed to the public.
The Royals open the 2014-15 season on Saturday, October 18, at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia, where the team will face the Wheeling Nailers. The home portion of the schedule will kick off the following Saturday (October 25, 2014 @ 7:05 pm) when the Elmira Jackals travel to Santander Arena. Royals' season tickets are currently available.
