
Rox Lose to Beetles

ALEXANDRIA-The St Cloud Rox lost to the Alexandria Beetles by a score of 12-9 Tuesday night at Knute Nelson Park. The Rox are now 12-13 on the season.
Carlos Lopez (Cal State Fullerton) and Erik Kozel (Colorado Mesa) each had home runs for the Rox. Kozel's bomb was a grand slam. The Beetles hit three home runs in the game.
The Rox scored seven runs in the top of the fourth to take an 8-5 lead but the Beetles scored four runs in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. Alexandria added three more in the fifth to extend their lead to 12-8.
