Round Rock Opening Day in New Orleans Postponed

METAIRIE, Louisiana - Tonight's Opening Day contest between the Round Rock Express and New Orleans Baby Cakes at the Shrine on Airline in Metairie, Louisiana has been postponed due to rain.

The two teams will meet in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 6 with first pitch in game one scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Game two will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both games will be seven innings in length.

Friday night's originally scheduled contest is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Shrine on Airline. Express RHP Brady Rodgers is set to face off against Baby Cakes RHP Zac Gallen.

Opening Day at Dell Diamond is Thursday, April 4 as the Express open their historic 20th anniversary season with a five-game series against the Nashville Sounds (Texas Rangers affiliate). Single game tickets, season memberships and flex plan ticket packages are on sale now.
