Cedar Rapids, Iowa- Tickets for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders' first round Clark Cup playoff games will go on sale to the general public next Monday at noon at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena ticket office, the RoughRiders announced today.
Playoff tickets will be available for purchase over the phone at 261-4625, in person at the ice arena and online at www.roughridershockey.com. Playoff ticket prices range from $8 to $18 in advance and $9 to $19 on game days. Tickets for potential further Rider playoff games will go on sale at a later date.
The first round of the playoffs will start no earlier than Tuesday, April 8 and will end no later than Saturday, April 19. All playoff series are best-of-five. The Riders will face either the Indiana Ice or Waterloo Black Hawks in the first round.
Exact dates, times and opponents for playoff games will be announced as soon as they are finalized. Playoff tickets will be designated as good for "game A", "game B", etc.
Tickets to the Riders' first four playoff games are already included in season ticket holders' packages.
The RoughRiders (33-21-4, 70 points) clinched their eighth straight playoff berth on March 21. The Riders are in third place in the United States Hockey League's East Division.
The Riders close out the regular season with a pair of games this weekend. The Riders will host the Indiana Ice Friday night at 7:05 before travelling to Waterloo Saturday evening to take on the arch rival Black Hawks.
