Cedar Rapids, IA - Congratulations to Robby Newton on his commitment to play Division I college hockey for the University of Wisconsin. Newton an '01 Forward from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was drafted in 2019, round 5 #69 overall by Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the USHL Entry Draft.
"Very happy for Robby and his family, excited that he has the opportunity to play college hockey for the Badgers in his home state of Wisconsin," stated Head Coach Mark Carlson.
To date, Newton has played 10 games for the RoughRiders with 4 goals and 6 assists.
