Cedar Rapids, Iowa - RoughRiders Assistant Coach Ben Kinne has accepted a position as Director of Hockey Operations for the United States Air Force Academy.
"The entire RoughRiders organization is very happy for Ben and his family," said RoughRiders Head Coach and Team President Mark Carlson. "We thank Ben for his hard work over his two and ½ years with the RoughRiders. We wish Ben, Bri and Kayson all the best in their future endeavors."
Kinne will be reunited with RoughRiders alum Zach Larocque in Colorado Springs.
With the additional of Coach Kinne to the Air Force Staff, the RoughRiders organization proudly has 11 former staff members currently working in the National Hockey League or NCAA Division I college hockey.
