
RoughRiders Alumni Eligible for NHL Expansion Draft

Cedar Rapids RoughRiders News Release
The NHL is expanding to add a 32nd franchise with the Seattle Kraken. The Kraken will have an opportunity to build their team from scratch through the expansion draft. The draft results will be announced at 7 pm Central on July 21st.
The Kraken will have their shot at selecting players who were left unprotected by NHL clubs. There are 11 RoughRiders alumni who the Kraken will have an opportunity to draft. Here is the list of the players Seattle has an opportunity to select who played for Cedar Rapids.

We will find out tonight which of these players will be headed to Seattle and apart of the newest NHL franchise!
