The following is the Day 2 report from the 2008 Saskatchewan Roughrider Training Camp.
ROSTER MOVES
Signed import receiver Brian Hernandez (Utah)
INJURIES
WR Carl Berman (hamstring) day to day
RB Reggie Bradhsaw (quad) day to day
WR Brent Curvey (tooth) day to day
DB Dre Dokes (hamstring) day to day
WR Vincent Marshall (hamstring) day to day
LB Brock Stratton (hamstring) day to day
PLAYS OF THE DAY
The battle for the backup quarterback position heated up today with a number of nice passes from Steven Jyles, Teale Orban and Drew Tate. Receivers Adarius Bowman, Chris Getzlaf and Michael Palmer were all recipients of touchdown passes. The defence had a strong day with a couple of nice pass break-ups from Lance Frazier and an interception on the goal line from rookie DB James Patrick.
TONIGHT
Players will meet with their positional coaches and continue learning the playbook at Luther College.
TOMORROW
Players and coaches will once again hit the practice field at Mosaic Stadium for Day 3 of training camp. Practices will be held at 8:15 am and 10:45 am.
