Roughnecks to face rivals

ODESSA, TX. Bringing their undefeated record with them, the Odessa Roughnecks (6-0) travel to San Angelo to face the Stampede (1-5) in a 5:05 PM Sunday match up. With the top team in each NIFL division earning a playoff spot based on record against divisional foes, this will mark Odessa' s first of four total games versus the Stampede and the Lubbock Gunslingers to make this playoff determination.

"We are focused and take no games lightly.", stated Roughnecks Head Coach Chris Williams, "This San Angelo team is coming off of a big win, has some real talent, and seems to be improving each week." The focused Roughnecks squad will be loading a bus early on Sunday morning and will be followed by numerous fan vehicles heading to see the team try and earn their 7th straight victory. For those not traveling, all of the action can be heard from the lips of Scott Shields and Grahm Pollard on 97 Gold FM beginning at 4:50 PM.
