Vancouver, BC - The Calgary Roughnecks sweep the series 4-0 with a 26-11 victory over the Vancouver Stealth and tie a franchise record for most goals for in a single game.
The Riggers strung together their second consecutive triumph by building quarterly leads against their West Division rival and posting the most goals for in a quarter this season with ten markers in the third. Special teams played a big role in Calgary's win tonight with the Roughnecks capitalizing on all seven power play opportunities.
Curtis Dickson (4g, 8a) led the charge offensively for the Roughnecks, scoring four goals and adding eight assists, setting new season highs for most assists and most points in a single game. Holden Cattoni (3g, 6a) was next with nine points including a power play goal while Wesley Berg (3g, 5a) matched Cattoni's three markers including a power play goal and a shorthanded goal. Dane Dobbie (3g, 4a), Tyler Digby (4g, 1a) and Mitch Wilde (2g, 3a) were the other top point producers with Digby posting a season high of four goals.
Tony Malcom (3g, 3a) was Vancouver's top point producer with a hat-trick and as many assists while Corey Small (2g, 2a) and Casey Jackson (2g, 2a) were next, each scoring two goals and adding a pair of helpers.
The Roughnecks now head to the SaskTel Centre to battle the league leading Saskatchewan Rush for their final match-up of the 2018 regular season.
