
Roughnecks Fall in Saskatchewan

Saskatoon, SK - The Calgary Roughnecks saw their three-game winning streak come to an end with a 10-6 loss to the Saskatchewan Rush Saturday night at SaskTel Centre.
Former Roughneck Jeff Shattler (2g, 1a) opened the scoring for the Rush who jumped out to a 4-1 first quarter lead. Mark Matthews (3g, 4a) led the way for the home team with seven points while Ryan Keenan (4a) and Robert Church (2g, 1a) also made big contributions.
Wesley Berg was Calgary's leading offensive performer, scoring four goals and adding a pair of assists. Dane Dobbie (5a) and Curtis Dickson (2g) were the other top point producers for the visitors.
The Roughnecks will next see action on Saturday, Mar. 10, when Week 14 of regular season takes Calgary to the Pepsi Center to face the Colorado Mammoth (5-3). It is a 7:00 p.m. face-off.
