
Roughnecks Add Bob Snider to Practice Roster

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the team has signed free agent Bob Snider to the club's practice roster, pending league approval.
Snider, 30, has played 85 career games, recording 793 loose balls, a 61.8 faceoff percentage (1,295 faceoff wins) and 38 points (14 goals, 24 assists) with Philadelphia, Washington and Colorado. The 6-foot, 205-pound transition player from Calgary, Alberta, was selected by the Philadelphia Wings in the second round, 16th overall, in the 2009 NLL Draft.
The Roughnecks practice roster is now full as Snider joins forward Tyler Melnyk and defencemen Mitch Banister and Patrick O'Meara on the practice player list.
Calgary opens the 2016 regular season tonight against the defending champion Saskatchewan Rush at 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome. The Roughnecks tailgate party returns for all home games, giving fans the opportunity to Come for the Party & Stay for the Game as Dutton's Lounge and the Chrysler Club open two hours before faceoff and remain open following the game.
Roughnecks season tickets, starting at $268 for a reserved seat at nine weekend games, are still available with single game tickets for as low as $38 for adults and $21 for children (plus applicable fees).
