Roughnecks & CMN Announces Partnership For May 16th Game

ODESSA, TX: Children's Miracle Network and the Odessa Roughnecks held a special press conference on Tuesday, May 12 from Medical Center Hospital to announce the community partnership fundraiser for Children's Miracle Network in conjunction with the Odessa Roughnecks upcoming home game on Saturday, May 16.
Partial proceeds from the fundraiser will go to benefit sick and injured children in the Permian Basin community. Five dollars from ticket sales above season tickets for the Roughnecks May 16 game versus the San Angelo Stampede Express will be donated to Children's Miracle Network.
If the Roughnecks sell $2,500 in tickets then Mike Lawrence, from KICKS 99, will dance in full costume with the Odessa Roughnecks Dance Team at halftime of the game.
"We are absolutely proud and excited to be working with Children's Miracle Network for this upcoming game. The Roughnecks and CMN have had so much success working together in past years and we hope that we can reach our goal this time around. We are also thrilled that Mike Lawrence from KICKS 99 is once again helping the Roughnecks and CMN with this community fundraiser." stated Odessa Roughnecks General Manager, Harold Fuller.
Additionally, there will be a Children's Miracle Network Night held on Tuesday, May 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Golden Corral in Odessa. The event will feature Odessa Roughnecks Players, Dancers & the Roughnecks Mascot "Digger". Additionally, Mike & Dana from KICKS 99 and Children's Miracle Network 2008 Champion, John Ross, will be in attendance at the event. There will be a free cookie decorating contest for all children and $1.00 off on all buffets between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m.
The Odessa Roughnecks May 16 game versus the San Angelo Stampede Express is scheduled to kickoff at 7:11 p.m. from the Ector County Coliseum. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Torrey Day Bobble Head courtesy of Hughes Oilfield Transportation Services.
