Hartman Arena recently finalized a deal to bring New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) to the new Park City venue for a concert on July 3, 2009. In order to include Hartman Arena on their tour schedule, NKOTB and Hartman Arena asked the Wichita Wild to move their July 3 game. The Wild agreed and has moved their final regular season game to Thursday, July 2.

The contest will still take place in Hartman Arena with kickoff scheduled for 7:05 PM. Wichita will take on the Alaska Wild in the first ever meeting between the two squads.

Wild General Manager Mike McCoy says, "The change is actually a good one for us. Fans can enjoy a great football game with the playoffs potentially on the line before they head out of town for the 4th of July holiday."

The Wild continue their road trip this week as they take on the Sioux Falls Storm in a Central Division showdown. Wichita then returns home to Hartman Arena on May 23rd for Military Appreciation Night, which will feature a face-off with the Odessa Roughnecks. Tickets for all home games are available at the Hartman Arena Box Office, by phone at 316-927-3999, stage1tickets.com and all Stage 1 Ticket Outlets.
