Boston Lobsters News Release
February may only have 28 days, but the short month did not stop Lobster Eric Butorac from squeezing in four tournaments in three continents. Butorac and partner Paul Hanley started the month off in Montpellier, France where they reached the quarter finals of the Open Sud de France. Next they moved on to Rotterdam, The Netherlands where they played in the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament. From there they were back in the States where they reached the quarter finals of the U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships in Memphis. Finally, they wrapped up the month playing in the The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
The travel schedule was not quite as intense for newest Lobster Mark Philippoussis. Philippoussis kicked off his 2013 season by playing in the Champions Tour event in Delray Beach, Florida. There he played former world number 1, Carlos Moya and Aaron Krickstein.
As February closes, we look forward to the winds of March blowing in some excitement for the Lobsters. During the week of March 4th the WTT schedule will be released and the roster player draft will be on March 12th. Crustacean Nation eagerly awaits the announcement of our 2013 team.
