Rome Renegades News Release

ROME, Ga. – With three games down and eleven more to go, the Renegades are making some roster changes that will add depth and strength to the team. These changes have included the release of former kicker Adam Lombard and the additions of Jason Colts as line backer, Alvin Powell as wide receiver and defensive back, and Brian Tracy as kicker. "These additions are big pieces of the puzzle that will complete what we've been looking for," said Coach Humphreys.

Former Romans, Jason Colts and Alvin Powell are excited about playing ball in their home town. "It's good to be back home in Rome," Powell said. Both players were graduates of Rome High School and formerly coached by both Coach Hines and Coach Humphreys. After high school Colts went on to play ball at Carson Newman and Powell played for Northwest Mississippi Community College and then Arkansas State University.

Brian Tracy is a native of Marietta where he attended Walton High School. Upon graduation, Tracy went on to kick at the University of Kansas. After graduating in 2002, Tracy moved back to Georgia, and the Renegades welcome him as an experienced addition to the team.

Tracy and Colts will be joining the team this weekend as they travel to Fayetteville to take on the Guard. Kick-off is at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Renegades fans, tune in to Q-102 for all the play by play action.
