
Ross Mauermann to Play Hockey Next Season at Providence College

Ross Mauermann, a former Bluebirds high school and Janesville Jets Junior A NAHL star, has accepted an offer to play hockey next season at Providence College (Rhode Island) within the Hockey East Conference.
Ross is the all-time Janesville Jets scoring leader with 100 total points over two seasons. The Janesville-native led the Jets during the 2010-11 season with 59 total points (27 goals and 32 assists) in 56 games. During the 2009-2010 season, Ross was second in Jets scoring with 41 total points (13 goals and 28 assists) in 57 games.
Ross is the third Janesville Jets player to move on to the Division 1 college hockey ranks. Ross follows former Jets player Rui Encarnacao, the Jets 2009-10 scoring leader, who currently plays for the University of Connecticut in the Atlantic Hockey Conference.
The Jets organization and coaching staff are all very proud of Ross and wish him continued hockey success in the Division 1 college level.
