Rose's Hat Trick Powers Juniors Over Cape Breton

Five unanswered goals in the third period powered Montreal to a 6-1 victory over the host Cape Breton Screaming Eagles Sunday afternoon in Sydney, N.S.

Montreal's David Rose was a one man wrecking crew with three goal effort. Xavier Ouellet had a goal and two assists as well for the Juniors. Montreal's other markers came from Dylan Anderson and Nicholas Chouinard. Cape Breton's lone goal came from Dany Potvin, who tied the game in the second before Montreal's third period outburst

JF Berube picked up the win for Montreal, turning aside 20 Cape Breton shots. His Screaming Eagles' counterpart Alexandre Veronneau was the busier of the two, facing a 38 shot barrage from the Juniors.

NOTES: Montreal's lone game this coming week has them visiting the Remparts in Quebec City. Montreal's next home game is February 8th, versus Lewiston.
