Flint, MI - Flint Generals Head Coach Bobby Reynolds announced today the signing of last season's rookie sensation Mike Kinnie.
Kinnie, 23, was a leading candidate for UHL rookie of the year last season before being called up to the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League. A native of Shelby Township, Kinnie had 81 points (37 goals and 44 assists) last season in his 72 games with the Flint Generals. Kinnie finished last season among the UHL scoring leaders and earned a spot on the UHL All-Rookie Team.
